The single-arm slewing davit is a freestanding deck-mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column (fixed or rotating) and electric rescue boat winch.


In cases where manual slewing is not allowed by the flag state, a hydraulic slewing davit from the hydraulic series can be used as an alternative.


Hydraulic slewing arm: The hydraulic single-arm slewing davit is a freestanding deck-mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column (fixed or rotating) and electric rescue boat winch. Slewing out the fully manned rescue boat from its stowed position
into launch position is done by means of the accumulated power obtained from a self-contained hydraulic power pack unit.
